Chairman Craig “The Duke of Bay Ridge” Eaton AWOL as “Revolution” Breaks Out

May 6, 2010

Has anyone heard from “The Irrelevant One” recently?

That would be Brooklyn GOP Chairman Craig “The Duke of Bay Ridge”Eaton, the man responsible for leading this party into the most calamitous election cycle we’ve witnessed in Brooklyn in recent GOP history.

The man who refuses to do anything about the recently ignited “Brooklyn GOP Revolution” or the spiteful intra-party warfare being generated online and elsewhere.

The man whose Catholic organization has worked with Democratic machine creatures like David Greenfield in the 44th City Council race, while his party leadership endorsed a no-name candidate who has all but disappeared from the face of the political landscape.

The man whose charitable organizations have had questionable dealings.

The man who maintained our party’s headquarters at his personal law firm.

The man who paid political consultant and Merlin of Malice Gerry O’Brien even after he ran amok this past year.

The man who has never been a district leader in his life and whose sole qualification for being chairman was donating to Senator Golden, from what we can tell.

Anybody?

Mr. Eaton has been strangely absent as his Bay Ridge Cabal’s party organization appears to be falling apart at the seems. From what we can tell, not a single diplomatic effort has been made by the Chairman in the course of this recent blogging era in the Brooklyn GOP to prevent what has now become a rallying cry for disaffected and disheartened GOPers to take back their party.

Rather than let cooler heads prevail, Mr. Eaton has committed the same sin the English king did in the run up to the Revolutionary War: he has demonstrated total and utter apathy and disregard for his constituents.

Their needs are not his needs.

Their problems are not his problems.

“Let them eat cake!” is a phrase that comes to mind.

And now, the groundswell of reformist revolutionaries building both online and borough-wide has achieved statewide attention, as Republican organizations far and wide are reading the details on this blog and monitoring the havoc that has ensued under the stewardship of Mr. Eaton and Mr. Golden.

But despite this catastrophic schism on hand, Mr. Eaton is nowhere to be found.

Not a word.

Perhaps, Mr. Eaton believes this is all just a bad dream?

It’s not.

It’s called “consequences,” Mr. Chairman. Consequences for your continued mistakes, failures and absence of leadership.

And now, as the tea is being thrown overboard, you are absent from your post?

That says everything.

  1. Marty Golden Champions Craig Eaton at Hostile Club permalink
    May 7, 2010 8:36 pm

Marty Golden was recently overheard mumbling something about Craig Eaton to members of the 7×7 He-man Golden-haters Club at their clubhouse in an undisclosed location in the 22nd State Senate District. Rumor has it that Golden went there to interview their only female member Darla to be his hand-picked Republican candidate to be his successor, since Golden thinks that only somebody tough enough to stand up to him is worthy to serve in his place.(It seems that Golden is terrified that he might lose to the gay guy and probably will drop out before petitioning.)

But first, it seemed that the State Senator wanted to explain to these disgruntled Brooklyn activists that Craig Eaton’s Primary 2009 attacks on their club had been caused by “the blogs”. Actually, Golden said those attacks were caused by Eaton’s reaction to what he saw on the blogs. According to State Senator Marty Golden, certain blogs had made KCRP Chairman Craig Eaton pee in his pants– actually he did it more than once said the state senator. Golden said that by September 2009 Eaton was buying Attends by the case, because of the blogs; and Eaton figured that he had to do something more than Kegel exercises to stop it.

When one of the 7×7 He-man Golden-haters members named Alfalfa asked what Golden really knew about “the blogs”, the State Senator Golden remarked, “All I know, Alfalfa, is that Steve McQueen did the first one when he was young, like that guy Jonathan Judge, who’s another troublemeaker like you guys here in the 7×7 He-man Club.”

Alfalfa, who was a former supporter of Golden’s, now apparently want’s to spend his time correcting the factually challenged state senator, “Marty, I think you mean ‘The Blob’ not ‘the blogs’.” Marty answered, “No, my legal people told me that the first “BLOG” definitely was with Steve McQueen.” When the former supporter asked the state senator if he’d actually read any of the blogs that caused Eaton to flip out and pee himself, Golden got very defensive and insisted that he’d read all of them. The former perenial Republican-Conservative gadfly asked, “Then, how can you talk about Steve McQueen, he’s not in any of the blogs that might have caused your chairman’s incontinence.” Golden dug in his heels and turned on his former friend and supporter, “You’er spineless…for buying all that liberal stuff…. I’ve seen Eaton piss his pants over what they’ve said in these blogs… you know, it’s very embarrasing for a grown man like him, it’s not pretty; besides, he’s ‘OUR Chairman’ not just my Chairman.” A fellow named Spanky briefly looked up from his Flinstones comic book and said, “I never voted for him.”

Very little more happened because Golden couldn’t commit to supporting Darla until after a possible primary– according to the State Senator that was his absolute policy and he specifcally said “That’s what I’ve always done, that’s why I didn’t endorse the Republican in the 44th Council race.” When asked why he endorsed the Democrat Greenblatt, Golden got very chippy, “I’ve let you grill me quite a bit. I won’t answer anymore of your questions. I am a sitting state senator.”

With that the meeting broke up, but there was a bit more awkwardness when Marty Golden refused to sign his autograph on the official Flinstones comic book that belonged to Spanky, who was also one of the club’s executive members.

After State Senator Golden left, the founder of the 7×7 He-man Golden-haters Club talked about lots of things. Darla said that she was really upset that Golden wouldn’t officially name her as his successor. Spanky argued with the older 7×7 guys about whether Golden ever had endorsed before a primary. Nonetheless, all members of the 7×7 He-man Golden-haters Club could agree that State Senator Golden did say that Craig Eaton was a pisser.

A couple of good laughs, guys.

Keep up the good work (time to sip a bit if Irish, my own blended single malt, I know it’s an affectation, very gay).

But— “A former great, great, great National Guardsman.” That made me spray Irish-spit on my keyboard.

I remember the …era… Camp Drum was just this close >.< to crossing the border into Canada and just about as patriotic. Marty got a discharge—Abbate got amnesty, and probably acid and an abortion to boot.

We'll have candidates against both of them, in September and on through November.

    Have a nice summer!

      A Salute said…
“…. this month is National Military Appreciation month! *** We should be giving great thanks to all those who served to allow comments like this to go through, especially to our great State Senator’s outstanding service in the National Guard, and of course the great 47th AD Male Republican District Leader’s outstanding and continued service to this Country.”

I started my reply to that like this:

“What service are we talking about? Are we talking “Sergeant York”; “Audie Murphy”; “Father Capodanno”? Or is it maybe something more Woody Allenish — like just showing up?
You guys keep making an issue of it, maybe you protesteth too much. What’s with all that?
I doubt that either Russell Gallo or State Senator Martin Golden have the awards that somebody like Timothy McVeigh received for his combat service in defense of this country.”

I had lots of good stuff after that to scorch them both, especially State Senator Golden, but I thought it over for a few moments. Maybe, we shouldn’t go there right now during “National Military Appreciation Month”.

You see, I was at my share of medal ceremonies during my time in the service, so I knew lots of people that did lots of heroic things, almost every officer that I served under had Silver Stars or Navy Crosses (virtually everyone had the Bronze Star with devices) AND Purple Hearts –I also know that every Marine is not a Chesty Puller, or a Smedley Butler, or a “‘Manila John’ Basilone” or any of the countless much-decorated veterans of the too many regional wars, police actions, and the other assorted actions and interdictions in our lifetimes.

I had some nice moments this week with an “Old Corps” guy, who saw lots of stuff before I even thought of joining, and we’re about the same age. His daughter is now at Annapolis– I know how proud he is of that.

As for Gallo and Golden, I assume that they both took the oath and did good and honorable service– just like I did. So let’s stop mixing that part of our lives with this partisan political crap.

So, since turn-about is fair play, and in a roundabout way I was called out for it, the “Camp Drum…Canada…patriotic” line was over the line. And I do apologize to Marty Golden and the readers of Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn for that.

Let’s agree to be grateful for all who’ve taken the oath, and have given good and faithful military service to these United States.

It’s as simple as this: Craig Eaton is a disgraceful chairman, and Marty Golden is a washed up Republican senator who is clueless and doesn’t know a thing about state government. That’s all that needs to be said.

Craig Eaton should know better, but he’s obviously not fit to serve as Chairman. I’m amazed he still holds the position.

He’s kicked out all of independent-minded women of the organization.

    He’s gone after the youngsters.

His favorite ego-boosting hate blog has gone after minorities like Roy Antoun. They also have allowed child predators to go after underage girls.

They love thuggish consultants like Gerry O’Brien, who is no longer relevant in politics, which is why he’s fought back so forcefully through the blogs.

I’m so glad to see the reformers taking control of the dialogue in Brooklyn.

The more the hate blogs speak the more people don’t listen to them.

    Oh well…

I hear El Caribe is furiously preparing for Gerry O’Brien. They’ve been reinforcing the floorboards, industrializing the bathrooms, checking the building’s foundations, and having all doorways expanded.

Has Marty hired the fork-lifting company yet???

Of course I could be wrong. Gerry might not be a fat f!#% after all LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I hope Mohammed Fayed doesn’t find out you’re using his brand.

In any case, you raise an intriguing proposition that it could be “Maresca” behind the curtain as the great “OZ” at those other blogs.

“MARESCA!” At my new digs that name is said like “NEWMAN!” when Jerry Seinfeld used to say it on his show.

The very strong hit that was put on poor young Peter Cipriano may be the Rosetta Stone on this one. Hopefully, not sounding too much like Cambridge Richard Normington (leading everybody to think that Gene Berardelli might have moved over to the 49th club), Marcus Tullius Cicero, in his speech Pro Roscio Amerino, quotes the Roman consul and censor Lucius Cassius Longinus Ravilla in asking, “Cui bono?” WHO BENEFITS?

Indeed, who had stood to benefit most from the present “Regime Change” strategy against the 49th AD. Stevie Wonder had attempted a palace coup at the Palazzo Ducale d’Arnaldo in the past. That he failed miserably, was one of the precipitating factors leading to the attempted counter-coup at Grand Prospect Hall, in September 2009. Nonetheless, Eaton has shown a propensity to beat dead horses as much as dead people. And Steve Maresca is registered on both of those ledgers. But up popped Anthony Testaverde, Vice Chairman of finding unsuitable candidates, with young Peter Cipriano in hand for Craig Eaton to look over. “Brilliant!” shouts Eaton. Offstage, Maresca utters, “Che cosa fai questo maltrattamento?” A new pretender to the 49th throne among the Eatoni would certainly make Maresca about as popular as Fresca if Cipriano were to be successful to any degree in his challenge to Lucretia. If the kid falls flat then Maresca’s stock would rise, at least that would be the Maresca thinking.

Since the undermining of Cipriano has been a constant thing at TJIUA and Bkpolitico, one has to suspect a Marescan lineage, or at least linkage to those blogs. The rest of their stuff sound like something he could be on board with, as well.

If “MARTY WAS THERE” is even half right, this is a very interesting turn of events.

A REAL SPECIAL PROSECUTOR MUST BE APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR AND THE NEW YORK STATE ATTORNEY GERNERAL

The Hynes Connection with State Senator Martin Golden is too close and too significant, the DAs attempt to cover this up with a “Special District Attorney” just won’t wash.

In addition, there are more connections between the owners of the Kettle Black and higher ups that have not yet been disclosed been disclosed. They go all the way up to the Mayor’s office, and that connection also apprently includes at least one member of State Senator Golden’s staff. One of the Police Officers’ blogs has said that five (5) higherups were in on this thing other than Golden.

Falsified evidence, a wrongly accused technician, involvement of a State Senator, the Brooklyn DA and the Mayor’s Office, this is BIG, BIG, BIG.

You don’t understand. Chairman Eaton is encouraging these blokes at The Jig and Politico. The people behind it are likely BEING PAID TO DO THEIR WORK.

We’ll find out for sure in July when the disclosures come out (unless they’ve been making payments in cash behind the scenes).

Either Gerry O’Brien is motivated because all of his political sins are hurting his business or he’s been getting his thirty pieces of silver from the party. It’s one or the other. He doesn’t seem to do anything for free.

Kraus is currently working for Marty Golden, so he has a motivation to work on these blogs.

Carbo and Gallo are deep in the Eaton cabal, and Gallo has his own motivations. He’s built up a firm hatred for Judge and Regina-Potter that has stewed and led him to misspell every word on earth in his haste to go after them.

Stephen Maresca is IRRELEVANT and doesn’t have any reason to blog other than going after Regina-Potter and to pacify Eaton, who recently made him a Vice-Chair.

But make no mistake about it: these blogs are working with Eaton’s blessing.
