Anti-Establishment Warrior Jonathan Judge Named a “Leader of Tomorrow”

October 30, 2010

Former council candidate and Brooklyn Young Republican President Jonathan Judge

He’s been at the center of one of the hottest City Council races in recent memory.

Now, Jonathan Judge, the former City Council candidate and Brooklyn Young Republican President, is gaining some big media attention this election season.

Specifically this week, The New York Post and the Courier Life conglomerate featured Mr. Judge on their short list of future “Leaders of Tomorrow.”

We received a forwarded email from the Brooklyn Young Republicans, who are praising their colleague and president for this achievement:

Jonathan Judge named "Leader of Tomorrow"

Jonathan Judge, President of the Brooklyn Young Republicans, made it into Brooklyn Tomorrow’s “Leaders of Tomorrow” lineup. He’s featured as the epitome of Brooklyn culture, being quoted saying, “I’m passionate about Brooklyn!” Thomas Tracy noted that Jonathan would “be better suited for the borough presidency.” Judge’s achievements have merited him success as a County Committeeman in Brooklyn and the President of the Brooklyn Young Republican Club, expanding the club from a a dying constitution to a burgeoning organization educating and training the leaders of tomorrow.

As you may recall, I once evaluated Mr. Judge last year for the position of Chairman of the Brooklyn GOP, to replace the miserable failure currently occupying that office.

It’s nice to see some in the media share a positive impression of Mr. Judge, whom we here at Atlas have come to respect for fighting the poisonous establishment in our county.

So, it is clear that Jonathan Judge is slowly but surely continuing to build a very sterling reputation and is getting his name out there.

That must make the GOP and the Democratic establishments very, very nervous.

Carry on, Mr. Judge 😉

Almost two years ago at a rump meeting with some of his Executive Committee, Brooklyn GOP Chairman Craig openly stated that he intended to corral Jonathan Judge and the Brooklyn YRs. Since then, Eaton and his Brooklyn GOP have been treated like complete outsiders by the Brooklyn YRs. And any herding of JJ and the YRs by the Brooklyn Republican Party has been like an attempted roundup of wild cats.

Several large campaigns have approached the YRs for help in the current election cycle, demonstrating a willingness to deal with Judge and the YRs apart from the rest of the Brooklyn GOP and against the wishes of that “organization”.

Now, this media recognition of Jonathan Judge must have Eaton spinning.

After Tuesday Eaton and Co. will have to go back to the drawing boards and come up with a new Jonathan Judge — Brooklyn YR strategy.

He couldnt even win a special election for City Counsel – he lost miserably, got thrown off the ballot, and has been absent from all GOP events since.

I am curious what “large campaigns” have been seeking his support – sounds like a bit of puffery to me. Pls identify them, so that we can check your facts.

Dear “Jonathan Judge … What a Laugh”,

One of them is called the Grimm campaign; maybe you’ve heard of it (we won’t mention anything more local for fear of reprisals by the BKGOP; they do that kind of stuff you know). However, as to the Grimm campaign, we’ll give our eye-witness account.

Less than two weeks ago, representatives of the Grimm campaign came to JJ and his YR associates and specifically asked for help where they said the Brooklyn GOP was showing weakness.

btw, one of the worst underperforming areas in the 13th CD was in the 47th AD of the infamous Republican Leader “Sarge Gallo” — Shocking! Just, shocking!

Don’t worry Craigy Pooh! I’m sure they’ll come out with a Brooklyn YESTERDAY piece and they’ll pick you for it. Or maybe you can cameo in a Bosley ad! LOL

        Kiss kiss Craigy…..

People like you have been bashing Hayon since he started. Hayon has something the Republican establishment does not have. He never gives up.

Hayon also has something the YR’s and the 49th AD can’t seem to get straight. He refuses to take sides on personal issues and he stays focused on the ideological issues.

The election results prove Hayon to be a true leader.

Because of these combined factors, Hayon is the true Republican leader of today in Brooklyn.

Yosef Hayon “Forrest Gump”ed his way into 43% of the vote, just like the rest of the Brooklyn candidates who had no real campaigns but got larger than normal votes because of the mood this year. His opponent had not been challenged in nearly a decade thanks to the Brooklyn Republican/Democrat love affair, and he was the accidental beneficiary of that. Hayon is not a true leader. He is all about himself. He doesn’t get involved in any side because he just wants to float to the top in this delusion that he is G-d’s chosen candidate and everyone should know that. He even sacrifices the welfare of his family to play politics. The sooner he goes the way of his friend Martin Chicon, the better!

I am smelling a little jealousy from Mr. Forest.

… and to Mr. “true leader”, don’t forget that I was the first person to recognize Hayon’s bandwagon.

Oh please, don’t be stupid. I am following and supporting Hayon because he is better than Cymbrowitz.

  3. It's Come to This. The leaders of tomorrow in the Brooklyn Republican Party must destroy the leaders of today and yesterday permalink

It’s Election Day 2010. It’s a watershed year and a watershed election. Regardless of the outcome at the polls in 2010, the fight against the Eaton-Golden Bay Ridge Cabal must go on. And it will.

The Brooklyn and NYS GOP must be purified by driving out all of the putrid rot of the existing Republican establishment, especially State Senator Martin J. Golden the corrupted corrupter of everything that he touches, and his main gunsel in the Brooklyn GOP, Craig Eaton one of the smuggest and unspeakably awful of Golden’s “Lord Protectors” of “everything Golden” except the “demense” and “The Manor”.

The slogan for 2011 is clear: As far as the Brooklyn GOP is concerned, “What can’t be cured must be destroyed — one way or the other.”

    Let’s see what happens next.

  4. “Existential Threat to Eaton” is acknowledged by frequency of recent posts and comments about Jonathan Judge in “The Jig is Up Atlas” permalink
    March 13, 2011 2:29 am

Recently, Craig Eaton’s propaganda-hate blog has been mentioning Jonathan Judge almost eight times a day; and on most days Eaton’s blog contained feature-length posts about Mr. Judge.

In the last month (remember, it was a short month with only twenty-eight [28] days), KCRP Chairman Craig Eaton’s propaganda and hate blog, “The Jig is Up Atlas” mentioned Jonathan Judge in its featured posts more than eighteen (18) times. Many of these posted articles actually contained the name of Mr. Judge in their titles, several also had Judge’s picture. In addition, TJIUA published comments concerning Jonathan Judge more than two hundred two (202) times. Many of those comments were apparently by the very same writers that did the longer posts.

Many of these posts and comments concerned the conflict between Eaton and Judge over The Brooklyn Young Republican Club, of which Judge is the duly-elected President. However, from the frequency, variety and severity of the blog attacks on Judge, it’s clear that Brooklyn GOP Chairman Eaton and “The Jig is Up Atlas” still view Jonathan Judge as Eaton’s biggest existential threat inside the Brooklyn Republican Party.

Who did Judge run against to be “elected” YR prez?

As a matter of fact when and where was their “election?”

If one wanted to run against Judge how would they go about doing so since his club list is kept secret and he is the only one with their contact information?

      Just curious…
