DioGuardi Coverage Breaks All Atlas Viewer Records

September 21, 2010

GOP Senate Candidate Joe DioGuardi

With the victory of Joe DioGuardi in the GOP Primary, activists and reformers across the country have been searching the internet for more information about the candidate challenging Kirsten Gillibrand.

And thousands of them have come to Atlas, breaking our most substantial viewer records.

As so, as we move closer to the general election, we will be following this race very closely, which could turn the tide in the GOP’s attempts to retake the Senate.

Additionally, we noticed the DioGuardi campaign was very cordial in commenting on one of our recent posts. They wrote:

Thank you for covering and blogging about the race. We are proud of Joe and everyone’s support that we must work triple to defeat current Senator Gillibrand. Dick Morris said it best on Hannity last week: “DioGuardi brings real strengths to that competition — while Gillibrand has weaknesses… If the national party and its New York adherents give DioGuardi the money he deserves, he has a real shot…” — Dick Morris (“Still Beatable ,” New York Post)

Go Joe!

We appreciate their attention, and we wish Joe well in his race against David Paterson’s appointed Democratic Senator.

Of course, for continuing commentary and coverage, please be sure to visit our blog from day to day.

Thanks everyone!

This is going to be a very important race. Dick Morris is 100% right. And Craig Eaton isn’t going to do a blessed thing for DioGuardi in Brooklyn.

    All talk, no action.

Congrats Atlas Shrugs. Like Dick Morris said, this is a top ten race to watch and he’s right on the money with Joe DioGuardi! I’ve been watching the Senate race closely and thanks to Joe’s grass roots movements in social networking and his constant travels up and down the entire Empire State – it’s why he won the Conservative Party nomination, received more than enough petitions to be on the GOP ballot, and WON the Republican Primary! Now we look forward to November and a clean sweep – WIN against Kirsten Gillibrand.

By the way have you seen the Politico article on Sen. Harry Reid calling Gillibrand “hottest” member at a recent fundraiser. The gift that keeps on giving!
