Primary Coverage Brings Unprecedented Number of Visitors To Atlas Shrugs

September 17, 2010

You just keep coming back!

The past few days have seen more visitors than ever before come to Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn to read up on all of the political news and events surrounding our local races in Brooklyn and statewide races as well.

Thanks to the many thousands of you for visiting our blog for our election coverage.

Please note that our coverage is not over, and we will be bringing you more stories from Primary Day in the coming days.

There is so much to discuss.

Until then, fellow reformers.

The best coverage of local politics in Brooklyn. Period!

Eaton and Co. can sit and spin. 😉

  2. Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn is the biggest victor of the 2010 Republican Primary permalink

The Republican Revolution suffered a major setback when the 49th AD insurgent forces under “Jean D’Arc” Regina-Potter were defeated by a handful of local turncoats and a massive invasion of “Outsiders”. The “Outsiders” had captured and brainwashed the “Dauphin” Cipriano who then turned on his own lovely and holy leader and led the band of disloyal Board of Election hacks, who each were bought off for a mere share of the “thirty pieces of silver” offered by evil Eaton.

It is up to Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn to keep telling the story of the on going BATTLE of “Regime Change in the 49th AD” as part of its coverage of the ongoing of the WAR of “Regime Change in Brooklyn” or as JJ prefers “The Brooklyn Revolution”.

Atlas Shrugs has reported the complete rout of Eaton’s army in his own redoubt. While Eaton did his victory landing on the aircraft carrier, declaring: “Mission Accomplished”, his political crown jewel
congressinal candidate crashed and burned on take-off due to lack of fuel.

While Eaton took his little safari into the 49th AD and used his elephant gun to kill real Republicans there, a real Republican Hannibal, Michael Grimm, crossed the Alpine Verrazano and led a stampede of elephants that wiped out Eaton’s whole camp in the southwest Brooklyn part of the 13th CD, including Eaton’s little band on safari in the 49th AD. That’s why Brooklyn Republicans have a Grimm look to them now.

The Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn was there the whole time reporting, polling, hectoring and predicting, and most important providing the electronic bulletin board for the rest of us real Republicans in Brooklyn.

This must be one of the funniest comments I have ever read on this blog. Bravo!

  3. The primary is over, the Brooklyn GOP is worthless, let's work to defeat Marty Golden in November to really prove the point that we're just so mad that we won't tkae it anymore permalink

Far too many of the Brooklyn Revolutionaries are content to do their Atlas Shrugs number in November, and be satisfied that the rest of the country goes Republican and New York maintains the status quo.

That’s just stinkin’ thinkin’ and really not good eneough.

Active opposition to each and every Eaton candidate, especially Marty Golden is the only way to shake things up in Brooklyn at this point. The worse it is the better it is; it’s now all Eaton’s toy just be sure you break it when you get the chance. Bash it, crash it, wreck it, smash it.

Republicans for Colton — that works too nicely for almost everybody.

Republicans for Abbate — he’d love it and so would I.

Republicans for DiSanto — yeah, that’s the ticket.

Personally I think this means the end of Vito “2-Families” Fossella and his dominance over Staten Island GOP politics.

Did anyone see my bar bill from Jody’s? I think it is under the living room couch on which I’ve been sleeping alone for some time.

Gee I hope nobody outs my mistress as payback for slandering Grimm the way Allegretti did. I wonder, is winning re-election worth all that trouble?

I stopped by Jody’s Club Forest the other day. Michael Allegretti was there, you know, “witnessing first-hand the challenges workers and business owners face” a.k.a. cleaning the urinals and trying to sell Molinaro some energy saving lightbulbs.

Oh no, wait… What am I saying? His website is down. Allegretti is hiding under his mom’s bed on Shore Road.

Eaton threw the “innovator of the year” under the bus. That wasn’t a wise move. Linda isn’t cutting any more checks.

I am at liberty to disclose that Craig Eaton was supremely displeased over the coverage of this blog. Not even the primary in the 49th, however, has given him true solace. This is due to the fact that, despite some sorrow on the part of the reformers, the loss merely served as a well-needed wake up call to those opposing the establishment that any level of bribery, corruption and patronage hackery can “fix” an election on way or another. The establishment left no stone unturned in their desperate attempts to bash the 49th AD with a rod of iron. And yet, from what I understand, the 49th is still up on two feet and the only person who is without funds or a hope of winning the general election is a prepubescent boy who served as an all too willing pawn of my quickly balding namesake of a chairman.

The Prince M. Golden has lost a substantial number of votes in the 49th AD, and every other race in Brooklyn appears headed for disaster come November. Soon enough, Duke Eaton return to his acquired taste for sour grapes and the reformers will be poised to crush him and place me on the deposed throne of Bay Ridge.

I am already measuring the drapes.

Can somebody explain the Bay Ridge Cabal’s irrational hatred for James McCall? Doesnt make much sense to me. Not that I expect there to be a reason.
