To The Chagrin of GOP Establishment, Brooklyn Revolution Blog Returns After Short Hiatus

July 3, 2010

We’re Baaack.”

Those are the first words of the Brooklyn Revolution bloggers, who have returned to frustrate and anger the Brooklyn GOP establishment, which continues to demonstrate it is anti-reform. While some Brooklyn GOP establishment-sanctioned “hate blogs” had rejoiced at their apparent exit from the stage, it appears their absence was merely an intermission.

In their return, the Revolutionaries lampoon the hate blogs and the “leadership” of the Bay Ridge Cabal, including State Senator Marty Golden and Merlin of Malice Gerry O’Brien.

Here is an excerpt:

The question begs, why can’t the Brooklyn GOP ever win an election?

Because of Craig Eaton of course!

The question begs, can someone please explain to me how Craig Eaton stole 500 proxies at the last Brooklyn GOP Convention?

The question begs, can a question really beg?

The question begs, how did Jonathan Judge manage to rake in more proxies than District Leader Clorinda Annarummo? Jonathan isn’t even a District Leader and still managed to beat Clorinda into the pavement.

The question begs, how did Marty Golden pull off a whopping 140 proxies equivalent to Lucretia Regina-Potter? He’s a State Senator; shouldn’t one believe that a State Senator should be able to get more proxies than a District Leader? No, of course not. It’s Marty J. Golden, the Republican hack…

The question begs, why are the Reformers completely beating the heck out of the Brooklyn GOP bosses?

Why is Democrat consultant Gerry O’Brien getting thousand-dollar paychecks from Chairman Craig Eaton?

Party “bosses” have to go.

You can read the full piece here.

My colleagues and I are glad to have a fellow GOP reform blog back!

By the way, it’s great to see this blog is doing well, and I hope you’re all enjoying it!

  1. Eaton's 2007 Selection and 2009 Convention Win Both Flawed. It Should Go to Court. permalink

This bogus trife has led to strife,
With more to come if not undone.

The so called “elections” that have named Sheepshead Bay lawyer and Marty Golden go-fer, Craig Eaton, Kings County GOP Chairman have both been rigged games, each lacking in transparency and legitimacy.

The first “Three Card Monte” scam was in 2007. That was a real middle of the night “backroom deal” which was pushed through by Republican State Senator Martin J. Golden, at least one person not enrolled in the Republican Party and a couple of Marty Golden’s hand picked cronies on the Brooklyn GOP Executive Board. Instead of reconvening the County Committee to select a legitimate consensus successor to former Chairman Hy Singer who was resigning (The real “why” for Singer’s abrupt departure is a whole other story), calls were made to a handful of selected Executive Board members like Gladys Pemberton and Robert Howe to secure their cooperation, or at least to silence their objections. Certain Executive Board members were specifically excluded. Eaton’s first selection was presented as a fait accompli even though it had no legitimacy since there was no meeting or quorum call. Instead of the rightful successor “Queen”, we were stuck with a Harlequin-festooned Joker, Craig Eaton.

The 2009 GOP County Convention was a similar bit of trayf, and Eaton’s selection as Chairman was as Kosher as the sausage and peppers at the San Gennaro Festa. The game of “Three Card Monte” was rigged at the “credentials table” run by Clorinda Annarummo and Anita O’Brien, both Golden-Eaton agents, with plenty of shills helping to keep the insurgents away from what was really going on with the count…on with the count…on with the count…on with the count. They took over two hours to get the proxies to come out the way their bosses, Eaton and Golden wanted. Once the insurgents’ proxies were driven down and at least one anti-Eaton delegate excluded from participation (don’t forget the earlier 2009 incident of the stolen petitions in the 44th AD changed those numbers as well) rules changes were made all in advance of the “vote” of the delegates. By the time of the vote several delegates who had come to vote had left without voting or leaving their proxies. None of what happened at the 2009 convention was legitimate, neither the rules changes nor the supposed election of Craig Eaton as Chairman.

Since real monetary damages can be shown by several individuals and in the name of the Kings County Republican Party, these matters should go to NYS Supreme Court for full discovery and adjudication before the statute of limitations runs on an action for civil fraud.

The Jig is Up Atlas, July 5, 2010 had their usual third rate reposte:

“Pathetic Got His Butt Kicked in the 2007 Civil Court Race! said…
This bogus trife has led to strife,
With more to come if not undone….”

Except for the truly wonderful catchy couplet there just was very little worthwhile in this effort.

For quite a while now, it has been clear that there is next to no political discussion coming out of The Jig is Up Atlas and its vast stable of commentators. Now, it can be said conclusively that Eaton’s Hate Blog scores ZERO (“0”) for literary merit, as well.

This July 5, 2010 cut-and-paster, has all th signs of coming directly from somebody’s law office on Sheepshead Bay Road (no holiday off for Craig?), and it shows the anguish of a minor league talent trying to catch up with big league pitching. Better off keeping the bat on your shoulder and hope for a walk or a beaner off the ole coconut.

This is the type of thing that passes for a reply from The Jig is Up Atlas:

“The Other Blog’s response to Pathetic Got His Butt Kicked in the 2007 Civil Court Race!: A REVIEW said…”

Actually, this one was not so bad.

Wait a minute, they just used my material from above as a template and substituted names.

Maybe, it’s because Eaton’s all by himself as a holiday skeleton crew.

These people are adrift, confused and scared of the upcoming reforms. Now I know how the Egyptians must have felt when Pharaoh’s army was destroyed in the Red Sea. Alone and defenseless.
