New Atlas Poll Asks Your Opinion Of The Golden Prince

January 27, 2010

Well, it’s an election year, and we’re always interested in your opinion.

Recently, some of my colleagues have taken issue with Senator Marty Golden of Bay Ridge (aka The Golden Prince), who has, at the very least, engaged in some questionable non-Republican behavior as of late.

Recognizing that the Senator is up for reelection this year, we wanted to gauge your opinion of him using the Atlas Poll.

The new Atlas Poll asks: What is your opinion of Sen. Marty Golden?

Please choose from the following three responses:

1. He’s essentially a Democrat, supports Democrats like Espada, and is hurting the Brooklyn GOP.

2. I liked him, but I don’t like his ACORN activism or support of Democrats.

3. He’s the most important Republican in New York City.

We look forward to reporting your responses.

***

Also, the results of the last poll will be posted soon!

Thanks!

On a related topic, some people who read the Dean Skelos guest column in yesterday’s NY Post thought it was basically a waste of space. Maybe, that’s because Dean Skelos is a waste of space, and an example of what happens when you’ve been in Albany too long.

At a meeting at Brooklyn Conservative Party headquarters in 2007, a gathering of social conservatives was told by a leading interfaith lobbyist that the Republican opposition to “domestic union” legislation pending in the state senate was going to be lifted by “the leadership”. The only reason DP legislation hasn’t passed in NY since is that the LBGT strategists made the decision to push for “gay marriage” instead.

The question begs (don’t you love AAA’s command of the language?), how long before the Skelos team gets behind that one, Gay Marriage, that is?

The question begs, isn’t the state senator formerly known as Prince part of that very same Skelos team?

The question begs, do you think support of the current Republican state senate leadership will be something to hash-out in a state senate primary?

This is a little pathetic. Where is the option to answer that he is just another republican in Brooklyn that I agree with part of the time and disagree with part of the time, I respect him as a senator and as the only elected republican from Brooklyn, and if another republican announces their candidacy I’d consider them just as I’d consider Golden?

    PS

BTW, just loved AAA’s TJIUA posting about Marty Golden—he’s just “the gift that keeps on giving”, but then so is AAA, as long as he’s being paid.

Jim you still trying out those dance moves for “Lambada”?

Must take one to know one in your case right?

Have you taught Jonathan any pointers for this time getting the “Lambada” down.

I am sure Borough Park would be dying to hear Jonathan is trying to get the “Lambada” down.

Re.: A real complaint was made with the real ATF about the blog TJIUA
and your use of an image of their real agents’ badges (federal offense)they were not as amused as the rest of us. Maybe, you’ll be able to explain it to them.

BTW, please forward this to “His Immenseness,CE” or to “Church Goer”:

It’s been over a week and still no satisfactory explanation of the KCRP and Craig Eaton’s Haiti flyer fiasco at Saint Anselms—no denials or rebuttals, either.

Mr. Eaton, we’re waiting for your answer. What did you think you were doing? Were you thinking, at all?

Church Goer, not a peep since January 18th?

UPDATE: I agree with Young Republican’s sentiments, and I have added a fourth option “I agree with him part of the time and disagree with him part of the time.”

Please note, polls are always imperfect, and we always welcome your input and suggestions. Feel free to email us at AtlasShrugsInBrooklyn@gmail.com if you ever have any ideas for us or want to share your concerns.

    Many Thanks.

I can taste the desperation from the Jiggles Crew and it is SWEET. LOL

These little cabana boys for Marty Golden (which consist of two former failed Capano–who?–advisers, Jeffrey Kraus and Russell Gallo) are the most obvious, pathetic political cretins the green earth of Brooklyn has ever known to walk its grounds.

The questions begs, why do we care if Marty Golden is the State Senator from Bay Ridge? If he represents the interests of the Democrats and is hurting the GOP, he needs to go. He obviously is weak and doesn’t have anyone helping him.

Another machine politician who has adopted the Democratic machine as his own. Vile.

    That’s all.

AAA actually said this after grabbing his ankles: “The question begs, This reform minded commentator proudly supports the Kings County Republican Party, and all those who will be helping move this party forward for this ever important election for the fate of this reform minded commentators community Southwest Brooklyn, and Kings County hangs in the balance with this being the last year before redistricting.”

Have you ever seen a grown man more in love with another grown man? Jeez, you guys should go take a one-daycation to Scott Brown’s territory for nuptials.

You losers are so desperate for hits you have to try and advertise on this blog.

Why would anyone allow a mediocre amateur website of Eaton buffoons to advertise their hate blog on the very blog Eaton is desperate to muzzle and destroy? LOL

Notice many Fresca logos in the PepsiCo Headquarters? No.

Btw I notice no one comments on your website but you guys…desperate for an audience? Tough times peddling lies, eh? No economy for thuggery out there? Boo hoo.

Get a life and stop being cabana boys for Marty Golden and Craig Eaton.

Get a look at “Jonathan Judge Man of the Establishment?” on TGIUA.

Ya gotta luv theez guys! Bless their hearts. If the other side didn’t already have TGIUA and “AAA”, somebody at ASIB or somebody “near and dear” to them would have had to make them up.

Let’s just say that right now TGIUA is KCRP’s “MSNBC” to Brooklyn’s real conservative and/or independant Republicans’ “FOX News”— ASIB.

BTW, if AAA liked Jim M’s first 100 races, he’ll just love 101— he’ll get tons of work out of it. Remember, it’s really all about the consulting work, isn’t it? Don’t worry, I won’t tell.

These are difficult, tense times for Republicans, independents and Libertarian minded citizen voters/constituents of Kings County, Brooklyn, NY.

It is my thoughtfully considered opinion that there will be no positive, productive GOP growth in Brooklyn until Mr. Craig Eaton and Mr. Golden leave the political and civic stage. So long as these two divisive, conflict-ridden, ethically challenged individuals serve as GOP County Chair and elected office, respectively, there will not be any county GOP unification. Moreover, I want to call attention to the long, continuous entangling, incestuous (metaphorically speaking) relationship between Mr. Kassar, Mr. Golden and Mr. Eaton, which has appallingly damaged the borough Party. This has been a negative situation, much to the chagrin and dismay of us – the rank and file, grassroots “Brooklynese” GOPers.

Once upon a time, from the source, Mr. E. inadvertently verbally expressed that an “incestuous relationship exists” in this regard.

The 3-head “Octopus” of C. Eaton, M. Golden and J. Kassar tentacles ought to be allegorically cut and therefore “libertarianated and liberated” from the Kings County Republican Committee.

If the Eaton-Golden-Kassar “Trifecta” wants to challenge my brilliant opinion, they can contact my counsel at the firm of Nasty, Poor, Brutish, Solitary and Short LLP.

I digress…. yes again. I heart Sexy Republicana! I adore her! So I want her to know how I feel. With much reflection and passion, the best way to let her know is to share some lyrics of a beaufiful song. The lyrics are by Cole Porter. “Night and Day” has been recorded many times, notably by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Starr and U2.

    “Night and Day”

Night and day, you are the one
Only you beneath the moon or under the sun
Whether near to me, or far
Its no matter darling where you are
    I think of you

Day and night, night and day, why is it so
That this longing for you follows wherever I go
    In the roaring traffics boom
In the silence of my lonely room
    I think of you

Day and night, night and day
    Under the hide of me
There’s an oh such a hungry yearning burning inside of me
And this torment wont be through
Until you let me spend my life making love to you

    I’m passionate about Sexy Republicana!

    “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind;
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.”
    — William Shakespeare

Once upon a time, pre-Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn, pre-C.E. GOP chairmanship, – AND – “before the manure hit the fan” so to speak, circa 2004-2005, our esteemed state senator representing the 22nd senatorial district, had during that time period, encouraged and prodded Mr. Eaton to run against NYC Councilman Vincent Gentile (43rd Council District). Mr. Eaton had opted not to run for the 43rd council seat, but it was considered and thought out accordingly.

    I digress…..I heart Sexy Republicana!

“One half of me is yours, the other half yours-
Mine own, I would say; but if mine, then yours,
    And so all yours!”

The word is getting out about Marty Golden:

    http://albanyexile.blogspot.com/2010/01/full-circle-open-letter-to-senator.html

Could it be, Senator Golden, that you simply support anything with money, prestige, and patronage attached? Could it be that you are more than willing to undo an election or work with the person whose election you wish to undo, all dependent upon your needs of the moment? Could it be that your strong moral stance is something less than it appears to be? Could it be that you are simply a pragmatist, and a relatively poor one at that?

I wonder if your constituents will consider these issues this Autumn. I have read that you have an opponent…

What they’ve done to Susan is uncalled for.

Only one person can do this – that is the bulldog, evil, Political Consultant, Gerry O’Brien. Gerry O’Brien consistently turns against his clients. Gerry O’Brien consistently uses dirt, smearing and malice to accomplish whatever evil goals he has.

Craig Eaton and Marty Golden – be afraid, be very afraid . . . not of the folks on Atlas, but of Gerry O’Brien. You, the Kings County GOP, and many others have paid Gerry O’Brien for his evil services. In the process, he has learned your Achilles heel. He will use it against you . . . or is he doing so already? Are you beholden to Gerry O’Brien because he already has you where he wants you? Are you trapped in his evil lair?

Beware! Beware! The evil one O’Brien will get you, too!
