December Breaks Records – Busiest Month For Atlas

December 23, 2009

I can confirm that this month has already exceeded all previous months in Atlas’ short history.

My Atlas colleagues have asked me to inform you all that we continue to break records even after nearly two months since the November elections. People are fired up and reading about the happenings in the Brooklyn GOP and the continued need for reform in our party. We’ve had many hundreds of unique hits more than last month (and that’s saying something). Thanks to all of you for your fidelity and viewership.

Stay with Atlas over the course of the winter months as we keep you informed on the politics of your local borough and local Republican party.

Thanks and all the best!

AAA’s comments are like roaches. You squish one, but they keep coming back!

    You didn’t answer this:

AAA, assuming anything you say has a grain of truth to it, if you think all these people are so bad, then how do you not demand the immediate removal of Craig Eaton from the Chairmanship of the party? Losing every election since he was elected, attacking everyone outside of Bay Ridge, selling the party out to Bloomberg for 100Gs and treating the county funds as his own private piggy bank are the greatest forms of treason and unethical conduct a party leader can commit against his constituents.

AAA, do you have to work hard to be a hypocrite or does it come naturally?

This is typical behavior of establishments. When they are losing, they try to act like the people challenging them are the real bad guys. The Soviets did it, the Nazis did it, and the Democrats do it all the time. No one has any answers to explain away the failure and incompetence of the current leadership except that it is everyone else’s fault. Before the convention and at the convention, there was a real opportunity to change many of the leaders in the party to bring about a more professional, competent executive committee, but they chose the status quo instead. They have shunned everyone who does not lick their boots. Now they want to turn their swords against everyone who wants positive reform in the party as the enemy. This is textbook dying regime psychology.

Moreover, diploma mills and other unaccredited schools modify their billing practices so students can obtain payments for degrees by the federal government. Purporting to be a prospective student, our investigator placed telephone calls to three schools that award academic credits based on life experience and require no classroom instruction: Barrington University (Mobile, Alabama); Lacrosse University (Bay St. Louis, Mississippi); and Pacific Western University (Los Angeles, California). These schools each charge a flat fee for a degree. For example, fees for degrees for domestic students at Pacific Western University are as follows: Bachelor of Science ($2,295); Master’s Degree in Business Administration ($2,395); and PhD ($2,595). School representatives emphasized to our undercover investigator that they are not in the business of providing, and do not permit students to enroll for, individual courses or training. Instead, the schools market and require payment for degrees on a flat-fee basis.

The question begs, is this blog receiving record amounts of hits because the commentators of this blog are being called out on their so called desire for reform fact.

The question begs, were the commentators on this blog naive about the one term has been assemblyman and the failed 49th AD candidate’s shady skeletons in their closets fact.

The question begs, what about 49th AD failed candidate and soon to be three time loser Lucreita “Rocky Balboa” Regina Potter.

The question begs, after all didn’t the “Meatball” nearly get arrested for lying to police to Illegally enter poll site during the day of the election?

The question begs, she surely sounds like a “Spicy Meatball” there?

The question begs, after all she showed so much effort trying to break into election poll sites the day of election.

The question begs, maybe she should have used all that effort instead to help her candidate Bob Capano topple Councilman Vincent Gentile in the 43rd council district portion of the 49th AD?

The question begs, why would a district leader try to lie to police?

The question begs, after all she is representing her community, our party, and worst of all herself.

The question begs, I guess someone will stoop to do anything, to cause this party, her community, and all herself great embarrassment.

The question begs, than again was Lucretia “Rocky Balboa” even educated?

The question begs, than I guess she doesn’t know better considering the apple doesn’t fall from the tree when you look at the doctored degree the one term has been assemblyman holds, fact.

The question begs, why did this blog sit on this story for weeks, when everyone within the Kings County Republican Party knew of this story, including Brooklyn Young Republicans President Jonathan Judge?

The question begs, further why did Brooklyn Young Republicans President Jonathan Judge hold a fundraiser for her, and than have the “Meatball” speak at their November meeting if they knew about these allegations?

The question begs, was Mr. Judge that naive about reform, or was he?

The question begs, does Mr. Judge regret throwing his lot in with the disgraced one term has been assemblyman, and the “Spicy Meatball” failed soon to be three time loser 49th AD Candidate?

The question begs, should the Brooklyn Young Republicans have saved their hard earned money from their Mom’s paychecks, and used it instead on Mega Millions tickets to enhance Lucretia “Rocky Balboa” Regina Potter’s chance’s of actually winning something?

The question begs, did Lucretia “Rocky Balboa” Regina Potter shakedown county committee members in the 49th AD, to give her failed candidacy donations in order to keep their spots on the county committee?

The question begs, did Lucretia “Rocky Balboa” Regina Potter also tell these same county committee members in the 49th AD to withhold giving support or donations to City Council Candidate and this commentators friend Bob Capano in order to sabotage his campaign?

The question begs, did Jonathan Judge willing to take part in this sabotage as well?

The question begs, will this blog investigate these allegations if it’s serious about finding out the truth?

The question begs, is someone hiding under the table, and afraid to come out and play?

The question begs, is someone afraid the jig is up?

The question begs, as the answer lies within the commentators of this blog.

The truth is out there, Res ipsa loquitur back at ya guys…

Once again AAA you have your information wrong.
A District Leader has every right to go into any poll site on Election Day and the Board of Elections did send an official car to pick Mrs. Potter up at her home and take her to the polls.
      Get your facts straight.
The embarrassment is not that Mrs, Potter was exercising her right to visit her inspectors and coordinators in the 49th AD, it was instead the lack of concern and assistance that she should have received from the Republican powers that be of the party.
LUCRETIA REGINA-POTTER IS THE DULY ELECTED DISTRICT LEADER OF THE 49TH AD! She is NOT ON ANYONE’S PAYROLL!!

AAA why does it bother you so much that for the first time in the history of our borough and in NYC for that matter, there is finally the possibility to see a Republican Assemblywoman elected when there has never been one before?
Your derogatory remarks and ethnic, sexist and racist slurs prove to all the readers of the blog and beyond that you, and those that support you, are afraid of any woman in the Republican party.
AAA, I’m sure you were raised better than that, and I’m sure you would not wish for your mother, wife, or daughter to be treated with such disrespect.

The question begs, why in 2008 did Republican candidate Bob Capano parade Democratic Councilman Domenic Recchia to all the volunteers as Brooklyn’s next Boro President at the same event that he and the party leaders gravely disrespected their selfless volunteers?

The question begs, is this why Domenic Recchia did not get a challenge from the underwhelming 47th AD District Leader Russell Gallo because his bosses Bob Capano and Craig Eaton forbade him in favor of a deal?

The question begs, since 2007, Craig Eaton has been assassinating the reputations of everyone who does not kiss his fat ass at the behest and advice of Democratic strategists Jeffrey Kraus and Gerry O’Brien?

The question begs, if the psychologically impaired and paranoid adult leadership spews nothing but disrespect and venom at the younger people in the party as well as the older grassroots leaders of the party because they are afraid that they are “competition” for them, what should the “leaders” of the party expect back from people who don’t need them for anything?

The questions begs, if the party leaders are completely useless to everyone other than themselves as they have proven themselves to be, why should anyone bother with them?

The question begs, name any Republican who did exactly what these “leaders” wanted of them and have gotten anywhere other than a dead-end hack job in a campaign or in government? The answer is none!

The question begs, will AAA lose his stipend from Golden and Eaton if he fails to destroy the Young Republicans and all the other grassroots Republican leaders that the party threw under the bus who have been working hard to build the party?

The question begs, is it OK for Craig Eaton and Marty Cottingham never to collect signatures as long as they write large checks to the powers that be, while destroying the party at the behest of their true bosses Gerry O’Brien and Jeff Kraus?

The question begs, what skeletons are in the closet of Marty Golden, Craig Eaton, etc. that they follow strict marching orders from the Democratic strategists that they employ?

The question begs, why is it that AAA (who is rumored to be overpaid Democratic strategist Jeff Kraus) always attacks other people when Atlas reveals the secret dealings between the underwhelming State Senator Marty Golden and Bertha Lewis of ACORN and the Working Families Party, or the colossal failures of the Bay Ridge Republican Party?

The question begs, as AAA and the other party hacks continue their destructive venom, do they expect to attract any volunteers or new people to the party in 2010?

The question begs, why does AAA, who refuses to deny that he is Jeff Kraus the Democratic strategist from Staten Island, viciously attacks Young Republican Staten Island leaders like Alex Zablocki?

The truth is out there, but no place AAA can get to!

This is from Atlas’ opening statement.

“You may ask why our bloggers use pseudonyms rather than their real names. It’s not because of fear of reprisal, for those who may be most offended or threatened by what’s discussed have no power nor control over those who say them. Instead, the politics of personality have brought down far too many movements for all the wrong reasons. Ad hominem attacks too often distract the discourse, leading individuals to focus on the emotion of how one feels about another rather than concentrating on the reasoning and accuracy of the arguments being made. And certainly within Brooklyn Republican Party politics, it is far too often relied upon to discredit the best intentions of fellow Republicans. Therefore, the credibility and motives of the content on this blog must be assessed on their own merits and on no other tangential criteria.”

You guys were right about what the party would try to do to people who want reform. I love reading the comment wars, but maybe we need to stop them for awhile because they are proving to be a distraction. If the ones they are accusing of writing on the blog are the people behind it, Republicans should be grateful for their service. If not, Republicans should be grateful to whoever is behind all of this. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Gee, that sounds just like the attitude of someone else we know:

One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river. The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped to reconsider the situation. He couldn’t see any way across. So he ran upriver and then checked downriver, all the while thinking that he might have to turn back. Suddenly, he saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side of the river. He decided to ask the frog for help getting across the stream. “Hellooo Mr. Frog!” called the scorpion across the water, “Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across the river?” “Well now, Mr. Scorpion! How do I know that if I try to help you, you wont try to kill me?” asked the frog hesitantly. “Because,” the scorpion replied, “If I try to kill you, then I would die too, for you see I cannot swim!” Now this seemed to make sense to the frog. But he asked. “What about when I get close to the bank? You could still try to kill me and get back to the shore!” “This is true,” agreed the scorpion, “But then I wouldn’t be able to get to the other side of the river!” “Alright then…how do I know you wont just wait till we get to the other side and THEN kill me?” said the frog. “Ahh…,” crooned the scorpion, “Because you see, once you’ve taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?!” So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog’s back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog’s soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current. Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog’s back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs. “You fool!” croaked the frog, “Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?” The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog’s back. “I could not help myself. It is my nature.” Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.

Evidence Connects Former Golden Aide Gallo to Alleged Impersonation on Atlas:

    https://atlasshrugsinbrooklyn.wordpress.com/2009/12/02/evidence-connects-former-golden-aide-gallo-to-alleged-impersonation-on-atlas/

Maybe you should have just confessed, Mr. Gallo.

You see, the most significant thing I learned from his email is that Mr. Gallo wrote the comment under the name “Russell Gallo.”

Unfortunately for him, this admission links him to the comment made by “jon judge.” Both comments were made from the same computer, and now, Mr. Gallo has linked himself with the same computer as the one that produced the comment impersonating Mr. Judge.

    Why is this important?

It merely demonstrates the tactics and the lengths (however petty they may be) that members of the Brooklyn GOP leadership will take to discredit people and/or impersonate them. While this particular incident is, in the great scheme of things, a minor problem (albeit a bigger embarrassment for Mr. Gallo and his former employers), it should put you all on notice of what people in the establishment are willing to do, unfortunately.

Those that engage in such tactics for illegitimate ends must be put on notice that they will be personally called out and exposed.

If you want to be critical of someone or someone’s actions or policies, be my guest. Impersonation, however, is inappropriate will be monitored and prevented. If you foolishly connect yourself to such impersonation, we will find out and put it out there.

Don’t be distracted by this foolery, but be wary of what some out there (apparently individuals like Mr. Gallo) are willing to do.

    Shameful.

I’m a Brooklyn resident, but as an amateur political wonk I make it my business to know what’s happening politically in all of NYC – with Elephants, Donkeys and the rest of the motley crew of politicians. I dislike the “Tweeding” of New York. I will expose it everywhere.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander….?

Domenic M. Recchia Jr, Esq., another ” Tweeder,” a Democrat NYC Council Member ,of District 47 in Brooklyn, is a lawyer with a fulltime work load at the same time he is on the public , taxpayers’ payroll.

    http://www.observer.com/2009/real-estate/did-rock-center-wreck-ya-call-recchia#

“Domenic Recchia—the colorful councilman who speaks pure South Brooklynese—is headed to court this week to take on Jerry Speyer and his Tishman Speyer, titanic landlord of such trophies as Rockefeller Center and the Chrysler Building.

    Sort of.

In addition to his day job representing the people of Gravesend and Bensonhurst, the aptly named Mr. Recchia, chairman of the City Council’s Cultural Affairs Committee and a longtime Coney Island enthusiast, has a gig on the side as a personal injury lawyer, representing clients who trek into his office after suffering various slips and falls.”

Craig A. Eaton Esq. and Domenic Recchia Esq. – two lawyers who specialize is personal injury and real estate cases. Their legal occupations are a conflict of interest with their constituents.

What next? Dom Recchia will conduct legal work in his council office while on taxpayers payroll?

When the Nazis took over they disposed of the senior citizens first because they considered them a burden on the regime.
Then they broke up families, separating the women and children from the men. The men were put to work in labor camps and the women and children were kept around until they were considered no longer productive and then disposed of.
They proceeded to establish a male supremest society based upon a totalitarian regime of terror and intimidation.
It appears that the Bay Ridge GOP is following in these footsteps.

Mr. Hayon, as thoughtful as that may be, you are missing the point. Either the county does not want individuals to be able to contact their district leaders directly, or the district leaders don’t want to be bothered. The party cannot succeed if individuals who want to get involved have to depend on whether Craig Eaton thinks you are worth his time. The county should put every district leader’s personal contact information or that of their club, if they have one, on that site. Otherwise, to quote from last year’s campaign, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it will still be the same old pig.

Well, normally I hate to say “I told you so”, but in this case, I’ll make an exception.

Back in the very first article posted on this site, I said the following (in quotes):

“I have spent the past few years learning a thing or two about internet forums, having run my fair share, both for profit and non-profit.

“One thing I learned is that the people you want to reach will not take you seriously unless you personally stand behind your words. Otherwise, people are always left to wonder about your motives – even when you state them up front. Your words will always be overshadowed by people looking to see the person behind the curtain.

“Another thing I learned is that ad hominem attacks are rampant with anonymous posting. That cloak of anonymity is so inviting that people abuse it.”

    Almost prophetic.

This site is now a joke. It’s a fiery wreck on the political road that people gawk at. Pathetic. And a shame, considering that its creators had an opportunity to actually accomplish something, but chose to wallow in the mud.

I particularly love how posters cite this site to prove re-stated arguments in subsequent articles – “Of course it’s fact, I said it earlier!” Hilarious.

You all wanted to show the party leadership to be a joke, but the joke is really on all of you.

I suggest taking it down and re-constituting it the right way. Real names. Real accountability. Real transparency. Practice what you incessantly preach. Lead by example. And consequences be damned. If there’s so much support for your cause, there’s strength in being recognized as a reformer.

And for goodness sake, get out from behind the keyboard. Hit the streets with your message. The internet is not the end all and be all – it’s one of many tools.

I’ll be looking forward to the name-calling and the insults coming my way, because frankly, that’s all this site does well.

The sage Dr. Arnaldo Vladimir Ferrarovitch (доктор) retreated into the domain of the 49th (Mother Tongue: Italiano), the one-time crown jewel of Brooklyn, as the equally evil People’s Democrats’ Army came across the land and turned all the land blue in their battles with the Red Army.

I agree with your sentiments, Gene B. A blog can be effective without people using their real names, but that is when just issues are being discussed. But when bloggers are personally and viciously attacking others USING THEIR NAMES, then it is critical for the attacking bloggers to do the same.

Besides, considering the ease by which people can just make up new names, who are clearly the same person, how does anyone know that this entire blog is not more than two or three people using recycled and newly created names? How can anyone know that this isn’t just one person acting like hundreds?

There is no way to know and, because so few chose to use their names when blogging or give specifics about what campaigns they have worked on, etc…it is becoming clear that this site isn’t really a movement of many, but the crazed obsession against Craig Eaton by a very small few…

“And by the way, if a person would rather sit on their hands and hold a personal grudge about being burned is more important than working for a common goal of improving the party, then I guess it’s more about personality than party.”

But Gene B., maybe this is why the site is named after a person who based her life in selfishness. Ayn Rand preached about the value of that human trait and maybe that is why everyone on this site wants “reform,” but in-courageously refuse to use their real names and/or get out on the street and make a difference…

And so how would you mandate that “people use their real names”? By some magic, a blog master should know every single person in the GOP? What would you do? How would you know who is real and who isn’t? The fact is, you wouldn’t.

The conduct that has been demonstrated here would mean that, if the bloggers used their real names, commentators could come on this blog and bash them personally while maintaining their anonymity. That’s even worse, because it means that one side is exposed at the expense of the other.

The fact is everyone should continue to treat these comments with a grain of salt. The ones that are obviously nasty, like AAA or Hustle Shallow, should be ignored. Common sense people should and DO ignore them.

I think the purpose of this blog, and the reason it’s so great, is that it takes the writer’s EGO out of the equation. We’re reading written ideas that can either be accepted or rejected. Some people have rejected them. Many of these people who have rejected Atlas have agendas, such as Eaton’s allies, and others have stealthier goals, such as Urban Elephants, that are not yet apparent.

But what is so great about Atlas–and the reason it has become such a powerhouse in Brooklyn GOP politics and elsewhere–is that the ideas that have been expressed are WORTH reading. Otherwise, the hundreds of comments that have been put up wouldn’t be WORTH writing. No one would care.

The GOP establishment is afraid, and finally they are being motivated to act in a way they never have before.

A blog has single-handedly brought District Leaders, the Chairman himself, and numerous candidates to one place. The establishment is worried, and they should be, because the truth is coming out about their doings.

This may all hurt now, but we will be a better party for what has been exposed on Atlas: the sewage treatment plant of the Brooklyn GOP.

Each day, I hear something new about this blog. And the people who are really hurting our party–who are mismanaging party funds and Bay Ridgifying everything–now understand that their tactics are not getting them anywhere.

We are much better off for that.

      From:

      http://bayridgejournal.blogspot.com/2009/10/shore-road-syndrome.html

In the wake of a decision that all pre-election events must take place in and around Bay Ridge, Hank Rearden, writing for reformist Republican blog Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn, attacked Brooklyn GOP Chair Craig (“The Duke of Bay Ridge”) Eaton and GOP State Senator Marty (“The Golden Prince”) Golden as the cause of what he calls “Shore Road Syndrome”.

Rearden sees as symptoms of Shore Road Syndrome the following expenditures made by the Kings County GOP during Eaton’s chairmanship:
In July, 2009, when Eaton was running for county chair, the Friends of Marty Golden received a donation of $1650 — in a year when Golden was not running for re-election.
Golden has received nearly $20,000 in donations from Eaton in the past 10 years.
The Party has spent $26,870.50 at the El Caribe Country Club in Mill Basin, which has ties to Marty Golden.
The Party has spent $10,500 at the Bay Ridge Manor, owned by the Golden Family.
The Party has given over $1,000 to the Bay Ridge Community Council.
This year, the Party gave $1,150 to St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, located a block away from Eaton’s law firm. St. Marks recently honored Golden for his “service”.
The Party has given $2,000 to Heartshare Human Services of New York, where Eaton sits on the board, as does Golden’s brother.
The Party has donated generously to Bay Ridge’s Xaverian High School.
Rearden thinks that money should have been spread around the borough.

The post from Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn.

  35. December 24, 2009 8:44 pm

“We’re reading written ideas that can either be accepted or rejected. Some people have rejected them.”

The problem with that point, IAJGaASD (if that really is your name, which I find slightly unlikely…), is that there are few ideas being expressed or written here. Calling people names is basically what is going on here and making derogatory personal attacks – USING people’s names.

Most of the bloggers on UE are anonomous as well, but you see much less of that personal attacking – and I work hard to try to curtail that activity. Atlas is better served asking, respectfully, that this back-and-forth nonsense comes to an end or having a personal conversation with those doing the most attacking – on both sides.

    That’s why I said…

“A blog can be effective without people using their real names, but that is when just issues are being discussed. But when bloggers are personally and viciously attacking others USING THEIR NAMES, then it is critical for the attacking bloggers to do the same.”

…because, essentially, I agree with you, IAJGaASD.

Talk about the economic projects that need to take place in Brooklyn and be personally critical of everyone for not getting them done.

Talk about the outrage of residents due to the massive increase in parking ticket agents crawling around the streets looking for victims – a silent, sneaky tax on middle-class New Yorkers.

Talk about the fact that there is a cap on Charter Schools that is denying needy children the excellent education they deserve.

Talk about how violent crime is on the rise in Brooklyn right now?

Base your attacks against people on their support for these issues in 2010 – it’s too critical a year to waste on internal squabbling. If you want to “reform” anything, push for the GOP to “reform” its ways and get BACK to the small government, fiscally conservative positions that have proven both electorally successful and ethically responsible.

“…and others have stealthier goals, such as Urban Elephants, that are not yet apparent.”

Maybe that will help make things more clear, IAJGaASD….

      I repeat my comments above.

I only add that this blog should remain anonymous and, if it wasn’t already obvious to everyone, discuss both the internal issues within the party and the problems facing Brooklyn.

I don’t see how the party can make much of a difference though if the leadership is so blighted. That seems to be a serious oversight in your analysis. The bullying and in fighting that has arisen recently by commentators on this blog is even greater evidence of what awaits if this blog loses its anonymity. People feel far freer to talk if they believe their anonymity is protected. But, I suspect that if the insults and name-calling reach a fever pitch, this blog will capitulate and block nasty comments.

It’s a shame that a free and open forum needs to be moderated because grown adults act like children. That goes out to all the AAA’s and Hustle Shallows of the world.

And, don’t be crass, Golub. I’m arguing for anonymity writing under a pseudonym. I don’t think that’s very hypocritical.

I see a continued divided, fragmented Brooklyn GOP for the next two years or until he resigns for the good of the Brooklyn Party.

I know a woman, “Octavia,” who in turn knows Craig Eaton’s law firm partner, Jay Torrenzano. Supposedly, and this developing information is from an indirect source, so it cannot be substantiated by “yours truly,” (but I don’t have reason to disbelieve it) – that the “other” half of the Eaton & Torrenzano partnership is extremely unhappy with all the negative, off-putting attention Craig has received publicaly with the KCRP infighting. Evidently this bad publicity is hurting the law firm financially, hampering morale, and the relationship between the partners has been recently very tense and stressed. The partnership may break up but it can’t be done too soon because both lawyers are actively involved in pending court cases and conducting various personal injury related litigation for the firm’s clientele.

That’s not prudent or wise due to possible conflicts of interests and influence peddling that could compromise and skew the Party and decision making at the top levels.

The law firm specializes in personal injury, commercial and residential real estate and general law cases.

Instead of that big party bash and carousing Mr. Eaton had at the hotel NY GOPers stayed at during the 2008 Republican National Convention at the Marriott City Center Hotel in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the (Brooklyn GOP?) funds spent on the shindig could have been used to pay a webmaster or IT person to maintain or operate the Brooklyn GOP web site. Or Mr. Eaton could have learned to do that himself, if necessary.

“I don’t see how the party can make much of a difference though if the leadership is so blighted.”

Actually, “leadership” comes from making “a difference,” not the other way around.

I understand you point, IAJGaASD. And I empathize. But I’ve watched too many an energetic reformer burn-out and get out of the game, to sit quietly and allow the potentially constructive energy I see and know of here in Atlas writers to be dissipated in that fashion…
