Final Atlas Poll Tally Remains Steady As Supermajority of Voters Agree Eaton Should Resign

November 23, 2009

As we close the most recent Atlas Poll today, it appears that there’s one thing people agree about regarding Chairman Craig “The Duke” Eaton: he should resign his post.

With nearly 400 votes tallied, the Atlas Poll has ended today, and the news isn’t good for The Duke. Less than 25 voters agreed that he should not resign.

On the other hand, over 370 voters expressed their belief that Eaton should tender his resignation.

We saw an up-tick in voting after Francisco D’Anconia’s most recent post declaring “The Duke” irrelevant in GOP politics. Also, the fledgling Brooklyn GOP website, which may be even more visually unappealing in its current form than its predecessor was, has already drawn criticism for its poor construction and careless unveiling.

It seems that, try as he may, The Duke is not convincing many of his critics that he is worthy of remaining in office. Whether he continues to do so is his choice, but he clearly does not command the respect necessary to rebuild and revitalize the party.

Take a “chill pill” you Atlas folks!

Big deal that the poll remains Steady as super majority of voters agree Craig Eaton should resign.

He has been busy this past year at his other home in Long Beach Township, in The Garden State, puttering around and thinking what a tangled web he be weaving.

Maybe the Brooklyn GOP should open up a satellite office on Long Beach Boulevard. This way the Kings County Republican Committee can help build up and revitalize the GOP in Ocean County, New Jersey! How does that sound?

Better yet…. how about Craig Eaton resign the Brooklyn GOP chairmanship and retire to Long Beach Township? This way he can become active in the:

Or if he decides to “stick it out,” he ought to see how a “better” Kings County Republican Party leadership operates and communicates with the members.

Kudos to the Kings County Republican Part of Bellevue, WA!

Eat your heart out Chairman Craig Eaton,

wrong. if I were Craig Eaton I would not retire to his summer and weekend home on the Jersey shore. Instead I would retire for 6 month out of the year, covering the winter months, and go to his place in Curacao, in the Netherlands West Indies, and then the other 6 months of the year go to the Jersey shore.

    Oh…..”living the life of Riley…..”

Brooklyn Y.R. Links and Brooklyn GOP Schism!
    written by Stephanie , November 26, 2009

I see that on the new and updated Brooklyn YR website under a series of numerous different links, they do NOT have a link to the Brooklyn GOP organization.

What does this say about how the Brooklyn Y.R.’s view the Kings County Republican Committee (or Brooklyn GOP)? No explanation has to be explained as it is self-evident.

There is a schism growing in the Brooklyn GOP.
