Thousands of Viewers Flock To Atlas Seeking Reform

September 27, 2009

On behalf of Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn, I wish to thank the THOUSANDS of you that came here in the past week. Our unique hits have been off the charts, and total viewership is astronomical. It’s humbling to see how many fellow Republicans want reform in our borough!

If you haven’t had a chance to read Francisco and Dagny’s latest posts on the stunning developments in the race to replace beleaguered Brooklyn GOP Chairman Craig “The Duke” Eaton.

Stay with Atlas as we continue to break news and discuss reform up until and after the County Committee Convention on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at 7:30 PM, at The Grand Prospect Hall, 263 Prospect Avenue. Candidates evaluated so far have been: City Council Candidate Bob Capano, Nancy Mottola-Schacher, and Brooklyn Young Republican organization’s President Jonathan Judge.

Today, John Galt evaluates recently declared candidate for Brooklyn GOP Chair, Arnaldo Ferraro.

Atlas will be very active up until and after the convention, so be sure to come back! Thanks so much!

Craig A. Eaton, Esq., does not deserve or justify another go at GOP Chairmanship. He has been an utter failure.

Since Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn has been online since early August, you’d think Craig would move his fat ass and start revamping things that his critics have communicated. No. He has done nothing. He came on to Atlas Shrugs one time only (1x) to claim, falsely, that this criticism was personal and aimed at his family. What horse manure!
Besides being a lousy, ineffective, aloof, lethargic, moody, divisive GOP chair, he doesn’t have the time to devote to building up the Brooklyn Republican Party. He is too busy; his overall schedule is demanding and full of constant activity.

The criticism is not personal. It is, however, factual.

    Here are some facts:

Mr. Eaton is a partner of a thriving legal practice which entails a few different area of law. He’s possibly making big money in various real estate transactions in a few states. Nobody should fault him for any successes as a result of hard work; after all, we are all for or in favor of entrepreneurship and free enterprise capitalism.

To his credit, Mr. Eaton has been doing a marvelous job coordinating and advancing an important medical nonprofit organization called MHE Research Foundation. This worthy, admirable endeavor will help many people and families, thanks to the honorable efforts of Mr. Eaton – and others – who are active in assisting to finding a cure and better treatments for this rare medical condition, known as MHE. For this imperative association we should give him applause – and perhaps, if it’s within your warm heart (Atlas Shrugs in Brooklyn reader), please respectfully and kindly consider making a contribution to this noble foundation which will help expedite medical research and advancement in finding a cure for this affliction.

Because Mr. Eaton has a busy, hectic schedule and a lot happening in his business and professional life, and because the KCRP has been declining under his tutelage and the heavily divisive, cacophonous milieu under his management, the time is now for a change of leadership.

Attention all Brooklyn Republican Committee members, please diligently make a wise choice regarding the next GOP Chair. The time is now. If we lose this opportunity, it may not come back again. The Kings County Republican Party, as it is now, under Mr. Eaton’s negligent, carless auspices, will ruin the Party.

“Be not deceived…..for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” –attributed to Saint Paul, Galatians 6:7-9 (King James Version)

“To live well, then, is to understand what is true; to tale good counsel; to desire what is good; and to perform good acts. The first is a quality of wisdom; the second, of prudence; the third, of justice; and the fourth, of perseverance.” – Marcilio Ficino, 1433 – 1499

Congrats to Atlas for helping inform fellow Republicans and being straight with us about our party! Some might not want to hear it, but so what! Nothing will change without honesty!

Craig A. Eaton Esq. , who has a lot of chutzpah, should pledge to remove the KCRP office from his personal law firm location, Eaton and Torrenzano LLP.

The way things are done now – it leaves open the potential problems of conflicts of interest, influence peddling and potential corruption, speculatively speaking. No proof and no evidence on the surface….. yet….. but what if a situation(s) as described has already occurred…..? Who knows?

The Brooklyn Republican Party should not share administrative space and staff with any other profit making organization. As it is now, 1662 Sheepshead Bay Road, Brooklyn, has the law firm, a non-profit registered there, a political organization and perhaps other things too. This is not “kosher”- as our good neighbors in Borough Park might say!
